Something that I am truly passionate about painting is pet portraits. Every animal has such a unique personality, and the bonds that they share with us are truly remarkable. With every commission I am shown just how special they are to us, and the amount of love that is given and received. Because our pets are so meaningful, I always work to capture their essence timelessly and bring their portrait to life. It fills me with so much warmth to paint these portraits and offer a service that I hope will always bring you comfort and joy.

Behind my Seascapes
The contexts behind my seascapes focus on the translation of colour through space where land, sea and air meet. I investigate the portrayals of abyss, timelessness and meditative movement, forming a bond between nature and mindfulness.
Growing up in a coastal area, I’ve always been in awe of those moments where a calm sea meets a beautiful array of colours in the sky. I associate this scene with a tranquil ambience, where a mental and physical stillness can be found. I imagine an experience of deep breathing and being present in that moment, releasing any pressures or stresses and creating mental space for reflection from the calm state it induces.

The Process

What do I offer?
A personalised painting specific to your requests. I specialise in pet portraits and landscapes, but I’m always open to new ideas! I mainly use oil paints on stretched canvases, although there are options for canvas paper as a cheaper choice that’s also easier to frame!
How does the process work?
First you place your order through my Etsy link and select the size and type of painting you want. I will contact you for reference photos (e.g. of your dog) and any other specifications to help make your vision come to life! You can then expect the arrival of your painting within 3-4 weeks (this is to allow time for paint drying and postage).
What do I charge?
The pricing of your commission is set depending on the subject matter and size.
