Hello! My name is Josie and I am a Welsh oil painter who is currently working locally in Gower, Swansea. This is where I find a lot of my scenic inspiration for my paintings, especially seascapes. As well as this, I paint pet portraits, curated to capture the personality and love of your animals!
Artist’s Focus
My artistic practice has been through many different phases of styles and interests, but the one thing that’s always seemed to stick, is my love of oil paints. Through this medium I currently focus on animals, seascapes and portraits. A lot of my work is inspired by nature and the connections that people hold with their surroundings. However, I have also explored topics including dreams and the subconscious, experiences of neurodivergence, and spirituality, which still hold a significant interest for me in my personal practice.
